Worship and Music - Week 2
with Marnie Peterson, Andrew Stephens-Rennie & Jason Wood

Marnie PetersonMARNIE PETERSON serves the St. Brigid community as priest and pastor, bringing with her a passion for worship that is deeply grounded in the richness of the Anglican liturgical tradition. As a member of a Christian community, participation is all about listening and looking for ways in which the Eucharist transforms who we are, and how we live in the world.

Andrew Stephens-RennieANDREW STEPHENS-RENNIE is community developer at St Brigid and the Cathedral’s director of Ministry Innovation. Andrew delights in curating honest, searching, multi-voiced worship conversant with cultures that surround it. A graduate of Wycliffe College, Andrew has a deep passion for seeing church communities grow in their faith as they follow in the way of Jesus. He blogs at www.empireremixed.com

Andrew Stephens-Rennie and the Rev. Marnie Peterson are co-planters at St. Brigid (www.stbrigid.ca), the three-year-old Sunday evening worshipping community of Christ Church Cathedral, Vancouver, BC.

Jason WoodJASON WOOD, a recent Anglican formed within evangelical and Anabaptist traditions, joined the St. Brigid congregation last year with his wife Anna. Together they live and practice hospitality with the Servants Vancouver community in the Downtown Eastside. Jason works as an urban farmer, organizes for climate justice with faith-based network Earthkeepers, and loves to make music. He is passionate about re-discovering a grassroots revolutionary faith, empowered by worship that invites authenticity, pushes boundaries, and ignites the heart.
